The attack hit three western regions causing Ukrenergo (the national grid operator) to implement quick power-cuts. DTEK Ukraineʼs main private power provider reported outages in several areas: Kyiv Odesa Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk
In western Ukraine Oleksandr Koval the Rivne regions head said about 280‚000 people lost power; water systems also got affected. The city of Lutsk faced similar issues – its mayor mentioned that city workers tried connecting water and heat systems to back-up power
Energy infrastructure is once again targeted by the enemys massive strike
The attack spread to other regions too. In Kharkiv a missile hit damaged both a business place and an apartment building while Sumy faced infrastructure damage. Kyiv saw some debris fall which hit a truck and caused minor building damage. Sources in Ukraineʼs energy sector told that Russians used many cluster weapons during this attack
