DTT declares Gangzur -Minjey candidate

Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa announced Sangay Dorji as its candidate of Gangzur-Minjey constituency from Lhuentse. 

The 40-year-old has a master’s degree in Rural Development and Management from Khonkaen University, Thailand. He graduated from Manipal University, India in 2007 with Bachelors in Business Administration.

Sangay Dorji worked for 15 years in the civil service. He began his career in civil service in 2008 as the gewog administrative officer of Khoma, his hometown, before moving on to numerous other gewogs in Mongar and Tsirang as GAO until 2019.

He returned to Lhuentse to officiate as the dzongkhag’s legal officer before resigning as the senior human resource officer to join the party. 

With this, the party has declared 46 candidates so far to contest in the upcoming elections.

Party is yet to declare its candidate for Chhoekhor-Tang constituency.
