Paro FC leads ongoing BoB Bhutan Premier League

The ongoing BoB Bhutan Premier League has completed its first quarter of the tournament with defending champions Paro FC currently leading the standings. Transport United sit second on goal difference followed by Thimphu City. The leaders Paro FC defeated Thimphu City in the latest league match played yesterday.

Thimphu City were humbled by a strong Paro FC who scored four goals against their opponents to take home the win and the three points.

The home team took the lead early on in the 13th minute through their Japanese Striker Kazuo Homma who was the top scorer last season.

The away team fought hard but was unable to respond as Paro FC scored three more goals in the second half to seal their win.

Despite having more attempts on goal, Thimphu City were unable to score a single goal in the game.

The win has put Paro FC on top of the table with nine points.

Transport United are in second place on goal difference followed by Thimphu City FC.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the table, Namlha FC has yet to register a single win or score a goal against their opponents. Similarly RTC, Thimphu Raven and Ugyen Academy are also without a single win so far.

Eleven matches have been played so far of a total of 45 matches.

RTC FC will play against Namlha FC tomorrow.
