Motorcyclist dies in crash with truck on Jean-Talon St.

A motorcyclist in his 30s died Thursday morning after being struck by a truck on Jean-Talon St. near Waverly St.

Police said the incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. and saw the motorcyclist, heading west on Jean-Talon St., try to pass two trucks travelling in front of him. As he did so, the motorcyclist ran over some debris on the road, lost control of his vehicle and was struck by one the trucks he was trying to pass.

At the moment police are describing the incident as a fatal accident and are trying to identify the victim.

Accident reconstruction specialists have been deployed to the scene and Jean-Talon St. is closed between Parc Ave. and Clark St.
