Ottawa police looking for witnesses after man found badly injured in Vanier


Ottawa police investigators are asking for the public’s help after a man was found unresponsive in Vanier Tuesday morning.

Police say they found the man after receiving a call to Carillon Street between Hannah Street and Baribeau Street around 5 a.m. The man had extensive injuries and was hospitalized.

No other details have been released about the man’s current condition, the circumstances or the probable cause of the injuries.

Investigators from the Ottawa Police central criminal investigation section are looking for surveillance video, information from local residents and potential witnesses.
