Queensway closed starting Thursday night to replace bridges over CPR and Trillium line tracks

Expect significant snarls starting Thursday night Highway 417 closes in both directions between Carling Avenue and Bronson Avenue until Monday morning for the replacement of the bridges over the CPR and O-Train Trillium Line tracks.

Lane reductions and ramp closures are scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and will take full effect by 8 p.m. and last until 6 a.m. Monday.

The ramp from Rochester Street to Highway 417 westbound closed Tuesday with closures starting Thursday including:

Orangeville Street will also be closed between Rochester Street and Booth Street during the project.

Westbound traffic must exit the highway at Bronson Avenue and follow a signed detour:
