Victim of St-Laurent Blvd. shooting no longer in critical condition

The body bore multiple, violently inflicted wounds.

A 27-year-old man who was shot early Sunday morning on St-Laurent Blvd. is no longer in critical condition.

Police officers were patrolling the street on foot near des Pins Ave. at about 2 a.m. when they heard gunshots.

They found shell casings on the ground, then located the victim lying on St-Laurent Blvd., south of des Pins Ave. He had suffered gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The motive of the shooting remains unknown and investigators have not yet made any arrests.
