Sunday morning starts in the basement at -19 C with a wind chill that feels like -29.
The high rises -10 C later this afternoon but the wind chill keeps it feeling closer to -18.
Needless to say, there’s a risk of frostbite so cover up that exposed skin.
The temperature drops down to -18 C tonight but the wind chill drags it down to -24.
Monday is expected to be overcast and a few shades warmer. Monday morning does start out with -17 wind chill but that eases to -7 in the afternoon with the actual high making its way to -5 C. Monday night will be close to -16 C.
Tuesday will have a mix of sun and cloud and have a high of -7 C. The low will be -16 C.
Wednesday should be quite sunny with another high of 7 C. The low will be -12 C with some cloudy periods.
Lucky No. 7 (of the negative variety, of course) strikes again on Thursday. It’ll be a mix of sun and clouds.
Thursday night will hit -17 C.
The average temperatures for this time of the year are highs near -6 C and lows close to -16 C, so these are almost bang on.
More sun, more clouds for Friday with a high of -9 C and a low of -15 C.
The long-range forecast is hinting at more snow next weekend.
