Crypto owners should be careful with their iCloud accounts, as hackers are using them to gain access to their crypto wallets.

In Saturday's high-profile hack, Kameo App co-founder and CEO Stephen Galanis said he was the victim of a cryptocurrency hack.

Galanis tweeted that he lost several NFTs, including one Bored Ape, and cryptocurrency worth over $70,000. 

He said the hack was done through his Apple iCloud account, but did not provide further details. 

The crypto thief quickly resold his Bored Ape NFT in Galanis. Records show that he bought it for $319,000 in January. Hackers were able to sell it immediately for $130,000.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT is a blockchain-based token representing his computer-generated set of 10,000 cartoon monkeys, popular They exploded and started selling for thousands of dollars each.

BAYC has become one of his most prominent NFT brands, with celebrities such asParis Hilton and Madonnaowning Ape and top Sold at an auction house.

Accessing someone's iCloud may mean accessing a seed phrase that gives them full control over the associated crypto wallet account.
