An adorable puppy had to be rescued after being thrown 15ft off a bridge into a bin.
A concerned dog walker called the police in Florida, in the US, after noticing a plastic container being launched off a bridge.
The distressed eyewitness noticed there was a small dog inside in the container - after being able to spot the dog curled up from the top of the bridge.
Emergency services arrived at the scene last week and spent half an hour climbing to get to the embankment and through the bushes to reach the dog - which had landed near the bridge.
Orange county animal services, who rescued the dog, said in a statement: “The concerned resident had stated they thought there was a dog inside, as they could see it curled up inside from the top of the bridge.

Facebook/Orange county animal services)“Our officer along with the deputy had to risk injury to climb down the steep embankment, but they were able to pull sweet Daisy out safely. We’re grateful for their courage and their quick response.
"What they found was a young female dog inside a small blue plastic tote that had been thrown away like garbage", the animal services said.
Pictures of the dog looking up at the bridge where she landed were posted to social media along with the animal rescue officer - who went to rescue her.
The dog was confirmed as Daisy, who is four-years-old, has thankfully been adopted according to local authorities.
Investigations into why the dog was dumped are continuing as an animal shelter was only located a few miles away.
Orange county animal services said: “The location where Daisy was dumped is a short drive from the shelter.
"There are literally hundreds of private rescues that would be willing to take in a sweet and gentle dog for foster or adoption. And yet someone chose instead to commit this act of cruelty.
“We will never understand why people do these cruel things to animals, but we feel fortunate that so many residents see something and say something.”
