A man allegedly affiliated with a terrorist organization known as the 'Beatles' has been charged with terrorism.
Her 38-year-old Aine Daviswas detained at Luton airport Wednesday night after being deported to the UK from Turkey. This development comes after he spent seven and a half years in a Turkish prison for allegedly being part of Isis.
The 38-year-old man has been taken to a South London police station and is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday morning.
After his arrest, a spokesman for the CPS Special Crime and Counter-Terrorism Division said:
"The UK Public Prosecutor's Officereminds all concerned that a criminal case is pending against Mr Davis and that he is entitled to a fair trial.
London Metropolitan Police confirmed that the suspect had been charged with violating sections 15, 17 and 57 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
