Aldi employees took to social media to urge shoppers to "be kind" to retailer employees.
Louisa Brown posted her heartfelt plea on the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook group after she got sick of staff being treated poorly by customers.
She wants gueststo think of the people who work tirelessly to keep food on cupboards and plates in this heat. I asked.
The post received an overwhelming response and went viral on social media, according to the Manchester Evening News.
In a long message, she said: "Yes, it's stupid season. Every man and his dog came to play and visited the supermarket
"I am not only in my store, but in supermarkets everywhere.

"My staff are tired, but they are still smiling and doing their best.
"Yes. Because we have passion and we actually love what we do.”
Louisa continued. Just cue. We will respond as quickly as physically possible.
"So waving your fingers in the air, grimacing, abusing my staff, oh, generally moaning, you're not going anywhere.
"What I'm trying to say is... be kind. Strangers and their smiles." Let's share, thank people and remember we're doing our best.
