Angry Man Plans To Stop Parents From Running School By Turning Giant Hole Into Lake

An enraged homeowner plans to turn a large pit he dug into a lake to deter parents on school runs from stopping on the road outside their home.

Derek Woodacer when he erected a barricade to stop mothers and fathers from parking on the streets of Wigan. Got attention. Finally got him to delete it.

He dug a pothole in the road to take his campaign one step further. and plans to drill a hole in what he called "Lake Commonside."

But even his neighbors, who initially supported his cause, now say he has gone too far, with his pranks "giving the locals sleepless nights." I'm thinking.

It is alleged that his five years of fighting resulted in quarrels, vandalism, and grievances.

The 65-year-old of Tyldesley knows he's upsetting people, but he says, ``I don't care now,'' and ``I don't care about the future. I have more plans," he warned.

In 2017, when he moved to Commonside on his Road, a fight started with his parents at St. Johns Elementary School on his Common in nearby Mosley.

What the hell is this?" he said. "The first week I saw a lot of people parked there from school. I felt a lot of abuse from my parents when I told them I couldn't park there. Repair when it broke

"I met all the residents on the road and they told me all the problems," he said.

"There was assault and property damage and we wanted to sort this out. This meant we were trying to stop people from parking here.

"I said this is unacceptable. I said there is no point in fixing the road if we can't stop people parking here."

“They [Wigan Council] tried to force us to remove the thing from the highway two months ago.

A neighbor, who requested anonymity, claimed Derek "wanted to be the center of attention" and that Derek's antics were "unknown." There was no,” he said.

"He started with a parking lot by the school," she said. "It's only a few minutes before they drop off. People understand, and they rather want their children to get to school safely.

"He's on the road ahead. He wants attention. He's made a hole. But I agree that Derek's passion has gone "too far". And he said, ``I just want attention

``Originally our road was unadopted and we owned it halfway down the road to the middle of the street, and at the end of it there was a school. There is,' said the 24-year-old long ago. "For 16 years we were constantly going back and forth [with school].

"We all paid to resurface it. Parents drove up and down and he set up the barrier himself, which led to an abuse discussion with his parents...it was terrible.

It came to the point where the emergency vehicle and the man with the bottle couldn't get through.

At first it was okay and I wanted to help on the road, but I think I got a little too passionate.”

Despite concerns about his behavior, Derek said nothing. Say you can't stop him.

"I've upset a lot of people in the past, but now I don't care," he said. “I don't know where this will leave me with my neighbors. of St. Johns Elementary School for comment.
