Angry Nigel Pearson threatens to quit football because of 'consistently bad' refereeing

Bristol City boss Nigel Pearson was upset with referee Lee Doughty's performance as his team beat Luton Townthreatened to retire from management.

"It's not because of how superficial modern games are and some aspects of modern games irritate me, but unfortunately, as far as I'm concerned, refereeing standards are at an all-time low."
