Actor Anne Heche was suspected ofDUI as well as a hit-and-run after hitting a house inLos Angelesis under investigation by the police.
Heche, 53, remains hospitalized after suffering "severe burns" in an incident in the city's Mar Vista neighborhood on Friday. Her house, where she crashed her Mini Cooper, was almost completely destroyed in a fire.
According to CNN, Los Angeles Police Department investigators obtained a blood draw warrant on the day of the incident and are awaiting the results.
Once the LAPD has its results and the investigation is complete, the case will be sent to the LA City Attorney's Office for a decision on charges and prosecutions, Annie Hernandez of his LAPD News. told his network.
