Antonio Conte sent stern Mikel Arteta derby warning - "I haven't seen anything like it"

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has been warned his side "will be walking into a very different Emirates" when they make the short trip across North London to face fierce rivals Arsenal on Saturday.

The arch enemies meet at the Gunners stomping ground knowing a place at the top of the Premier League table is what's at stake. Mikel Arteta's Arsenal currently occupy top spot after six wins from their opening seven games, but Conte's men are unbeaten and will leapfrog their neighbours into first with a win on the red half of the neighbourhood.

Ex-Arsenal star Martin Keown has explained how it will not be easy for Spurs, as they will be taking on an Arsenal side that at long lasts boasts the kind of unity and togetherness so many Gunners squads in recent years have lacked.

Speaking exclusively to Mirror Football , on behalf of BT Sport, Keown claimed: "The Spurs players will be walking into a very different Emirates this time around.

"The atmosphere, the unity, I haven’t seen anything like it for a number of years – probably never seen it in that stadium, it’s now feeling like Arsenal's home, their proper home. If they can beat Spurs, that cements it even more."

The Gunners legend went on to wax lyrical about Arsenal's brand of football under Arteta this term and even picked out one summer signing for extra praise.

"Arsenal have been really expressive with the way they play, more artistic, more flowing football – I think [Gabriel] Jesus has been really key to that success, a leader in the building, someone who has won a Premier League, with those credentials that everyone else follows. He has been setting the benchmark."

Jesus has enjoyed a stellar start to life at the Emirates with four goals from his opening seven games as a Gunner following his £45million move from reigning champions Manchester City in the summer.

With just a point separating the two teams, Keown is of the belief, much like many others, that this will be an engaging affair between two sides with plenty to play for trying to win in very different ways.

He added: "I'm interested to see how Arsenal can disrupt the system that Tottenham play with, Conte is a connoisseur of this system. This guy is an expert on it.

"Arteta has a different view on the game, a more artistic, expressive view of the game – one he learned at Manchester City, it's just now whether the players are at the level to go after a Premier League."
