Air United confirms 'positive talks' to re-sign with Somerset Ragazzi fan group

A group of young fans famous for bringing noise and color to Air Unitedmatches met with the club's boss to strengthen their relationship.

Somerset Ragazzi members have had "positive" discussions aboutUnited's re-engagement with the hierarchy.

Managing Director Graeme Mathie brokered the summer talks with the aim of capitalizing on the potential of his group of supporters to have a positive impact on Terrace.

Ragazzi - meaning 'boys' - was the name given to the original group, which was formed over a decade ago, and has since largely strayed from following United.

But the group has returned in recent months, and Mathie and the club's chief want to move forward with closer cooperation.

The Managing Director said:

"The support and atmosphere that Ragazzi creates for the team, home and away, is always great and I know how much Lee (Baren) and the players appreciate their support.
