A baby with more hair than most middle-aged men is stopped by a startled stranger in the street

Mother says herGeorge Michael-like mane stops strangers in the street, so her babies are "morethan most middle-aged men."

31-year-old Rachel Ware was surprised Marley Chappell was born with long, dark hair.

A 7-month-old baby's hair is past his shoulders, but he's standing on his hands against gravity.

Rachel says she was stopped by her passers-by crowding around Marley's pram in the street and she was complimented on her giant barnet.

His mother joked that at only seven months old, Marley had more hair than most middle-aged men.

Rachel, who is also the mother of 2-year-old Theo Chappell, said, "Both Lewis and I are brunettes. And we have a lot of hair.

I lost my hair, but not the top hair, only a small ring on my back.

"It has been growing consistently for some time. Her hair is very thick, long and down to her shoulders.

"She has natural hair and new hair growing underneath. It's a lot shorter, it's a bit mulletish for now.

"No matter how flat it is, it's sure to go up. It's got a mind of its own."

Rachel has no special routine other than washing and combing Marley's hair.

Rachel said: "I just put on a good shampoo and comb and let it air dry.

"Then I started buying clips because the fringe caught my eye. Now I chose plain hair bands to hold everything together."

Rachel said,
