Images show a huge fire blazing in a field near a Merseyside highway, lighting up the night sky with flames.
At approximately 9:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Buckley Hill, Netherton, on the land behind his lane, was engulfed in a massive wildfire, and after receiving a call, firefighters I rushed to the scene.
The Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said: was in another location at the time of the call.
"There are no other emergency services and fire fighting is underway."
