British woman dies after mysterious jump from 8th floor of 4-star hotel in Mallorca

A British woman has died after jumping from a hotel in Palma, Majorca.

A 48-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the alarm went off around 8:00 am this morning.

The hotel where the drama happened was named the four-star Hotel Melia Palma Marina.

She is believed to have died after jumping from her eighth-floor room, where she was alone at the time.

State Police are investigating the incident. No one in the military could be reached for comment.
