Chelsea striker Timo Werner has arrived in Germany with his girlfriend ahead of his return to RB Leipzig.
The 26-year-old moved to Chelseain the summer of 2020 for a transfer fee of £47million. Spot, the German returns toLeipzig on his £25.3m transfer.
Wernerarrives for almost half the amount sold and has theChampions winner's medal for his league. The
transfer makes Boss Thomas Tuchel even shorter in the striker division.
Club-record signing Romelu Lukaku also left the club, but 20/21 he helped win the Serie A season at Inter Inter on loan to Milan.
The transfer of Raheem Sterling helped soften the blow.
Armando Broja is also currently the only recognized striker at Stamford Bridge.
Werner's compatriot Kai Havertz is also available at the top if requested.
Chelsea could enter the market for another forward as boss Thomas Tuchel admits the team lacks energy.
