The grieving family of the pop idol star announced the singer died last Thursday after he was found dead in the bed of his apartment in Minnesota, USA.

Darius's operatic voice echoed through the living room as she uttered the lyrics.

"I was lucky enough to meet Darius. He was one of my mother's favorite singers. For many years my mother was stuck at home. During this time, Darius visited his mother several times, serenading her in the bedroom, and she listened and joined in.
