Donald Trump claims Mar-a-Lago home is 'besieged' by FBI agents in 'unannounced raid'

Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have conducted a search. The 45th president claimed to have received the warrant at Donald Trump's home in Palm Beach.

In a statement released Monday night, the former US president claimed his Florida residence was "besieged" by US domestic intelligence and security agents.

Trump said:

"Never before has anything like this happened to a US president."

He added: No home was needed or suitable.

The incident came as a bipartisan House task force was investigating Trump's involvement in the January 6 U.S. Capitol riot.
