Eamonn Holmes made his feelings clear about Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield's 'drunk' NTA antics on This Morning.
The presenting pair went viral back in 2016 when they turned up to the ITV mid-morning show with the same outfits on as they had worn the night before. The moment was dubbed as iconic by viewers, with Holly joking back in 2019 that they were desperately "trying to hold it together" as she reflected on "those crazy days".
"I remember thinking, 'Is this OK? Is anyone going to come in and stop us?'" she recalled back then.
Now Eamon has given his verdict on that particular episode of the ITV show, and in an interview with GB News, he said: "They have been allowed to turn up the next day advocating the use of drink – or something else, I don’t know – and sit on a couch like, 'I’m so drunk, I haven’t been to bed,' whatever, whatever.
"And yet ITV, the legacy of Ant McPartlin – lovely fella – who was in a driving accident where people were injured when he was under the influence of drunk. And yet they can promote that?"

A spokesperson for This Morning, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have been contacted by The Mirror for comment.
In the now iconic episode, Holly began by saying: "Yes we’re still in the same clothes. I haven’t been home yet. I came straight here," before standing up and showing a stain on her dress from where they had played a game at Ant's house.
When Ant and Dec returned to This Morning a few years later, Phil had told them: "Our boss was quiet in the gallery so we thought everything is fine – although we did hear him say, 'Give them another drink,'" before Holly said she'd never do it again.
Phillip stepped down from his role at ITV last week after admitting to having an affair with a younger male colleague.
In his statement, he said: "The first thing I want to say is: I am deeply sorry for having lied to them, and to many others about a relationship that I had with someone working on This Morning.
"I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning. Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than a just a friendship. That relationship was unwise, but not illegal. It is now over."
He added: "I am painfully conscious that I have lied to my employers at ITV, to my colleagues and friends, to my agents, to the media and therefore the public and most importantly of all to my family.
"I am so very, very sorry, as I am for having been unfaithful to my wife. I am resigning from ITV with immediate effect, expressing my immense gratitude to them for all the amazing opportunities that they have given me."
