Fans know that Linda was in the car driven by Janine Her Butcher. An argument between the two led to an accident.

However, Janine's cruel actions in the fallout may finally be revealed, and clues to what really happened appear to resurface..

Linda got drunk and threatened to tell her ex Mick Carter. Janine's partner Janine stole her daughter Nancy's money and tried to pay her to leave Walford.

Linda is soon ostracized by her family and faces her prison sentence for a crime she didn't commit.

But with her court visit looming next week, Linda made a big discovery and she was finally able to solve her case.

Linda tries to retrace her steps that day, but soon she and Mick realize that she called Vic that night.

Janine is panicking. She knows full well that it was she who answered the call and that led her to pursue Linda.

Sharon tells Linda that she was in Vic on the day of the accident and that she knows who answered Linda's phone call.

Soon, Linda confronts Janine about her phone calls in front of Mick, and it turns out that she was the one who answered her calls.
