Eddie Izzard shared the unexpected way he decided to reveal that he changed the pronoun into his own.
In December 2020, Izzard appeared in the Sky Arts series Portrait Artist of the Yearwith show host Stephen Mangan referred to Izzard using feminine pronouns. was not widely accepted as the latter.
"I didn't change my pronouns. I thought I would," Izzard, 60, said on a podcast. 23} .
Izzard described himself as "gender fluid" and recalled:
``Some young artists are painting me. They ask me. It's like coffee. Or is it he/him?' So it was like, 'Hey, let's have a latte.'" And in two days in England, all pronouns have been changed," he said, calling it "a great, great honour."
Izzard, who said he "was promoted to her," explains: It's not the time to fight each other on this matter.'
