Edith Bowman revealed she was just 19 when she had her first big interview. It was superstar Kylie her Minogue.
When she stalked Minogue Kylie in 1995 outside the restrooms of T in the Park, a Scottish podcast host and radio presenter I used to work at a radio station.
"They sent me over with a little recorder and said let's see what we can do," she told Mirror EXCLUSIVELY. I spotted Kylie going backstage to the women's restroom, so I hung around a bit awkwardly and waited for her to come out.She was so gracious and generous.
The Edinburgh gig was also Edith's first festival, and she remembered it as "awe-inspiring".

Decades later, the former Radio 1 DJ and podcast host is still discovering and championing new music and artists.
The mum of two hosts the podcast BMW Play Next, which aims to highlight the music of up-and-coming artists alongside her headline acts.

Photo from PR)"This is purely about celebrating new music and giving these people a platform. I don't expect anything in return, just their involvement and kudos for their work.For me it's a bit of a "breath of fresh air, honestly," Edith said as she recalled the podcast.

Then her three artists from the podcast will have a chance to perform on his BMW Play Next stage at the All Points East Festival in London this August.
Edith has been in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years, and she believes the media representation of female musicians still needs work.
"It's not hard for women to get into this industry, but once you're there, it's how they are treated," she said.
"I think the media has a lot to do. They focus on women in a very different way than they focus on men.
" When it comes to men, they never deal with image.

Continuing, the radio host said, ``There are so many boundaries around things.
"Don't think of music in genres. They certainly don't give a rat's ass about someone's age," said Edith, who has two sons.
