An old man on a mobility scooter has been stabbed to death in London where police are seeking witnesses.
A victim, believed to be in his 80s, was found after police were called in West London shortly after 4pm on Tuesday 16th August.
Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made yet.
Criminal Investigator Jim His Eastwood, Chief Detective of the London Metropolitan Police, said:
"If you were on Western Avenue A40 Eastbound near Cayton Road and Welland Gardens between 15:15 and 16:15, for those with dashcam or cycle helmet footage Please contact me, the elderly victim on the scooter was in the area at the time, if you see the victim or catch anyone acting suspiciously in the area, get in touch

A witness should refer to CAD 4691/16 August 16 and he should call 101.
