England and Wales fans clash in violent Tenerife brawl ahead of World Cup game

England and Wales football fans seemingly clashed in a violent brawl in Tenerife where stools were thrown last night.

During the ongoing World Cup, many fans have opted to travel abroad to enjoy watching it, and not just to the host nation Qatar.

However, the country’s international football fans have a past of hooliganism and violence and it seems to have reared its ugly head once more.

In Tenerife, England and Wales fans met in a violent brawl in the middle of a busy street that saw stools hurled as the two sides squared off.

The brawl is believed to have happened outside the Revolution bar in Tenerife, and in the video dance music blares out as hundreds try to continue enjoying their night as a large group fights.

Men can be seen stalking around wearing England and Wales tops as they throw punches and kicks.

At one point, one man wields a stool and hits someone with it before launching at someone else.

Just when the fight looks to have been defused another punch is thrown and it all breaks out once more. The mindless brawl spreads down the street with dozens of grown men fighting.

On multiple occasions, men are knocked to the ground where they are hit and punched, or they wildly swing at others, spreading the violence.

They can be heard taunting one another and swearing on the same day both nations played and ahead of when they will play one another.

As the fighting goes on, bystanders watch the aimless fighting, with some filming.

England fans being violent at home and abroad is sadly a long-running stain on this nation’s international team.

During last year’s Euro competition England fans fought Scottish fans in a huge brawl and the final turned sour when a large number of home fans forced their way into Wembley.

There they sparked chaos with their violence and drunken behaviour after there had already been fighting outside.
