England are looking to reach the quarter finals of the World Cup for the second successive tournament as they take on Aliou Cisse's Senegal at the Al Bayt Stadium.
The Three Lions are in confident mood after topping Group B but the African Cup of Nations champions will be no pushovers after they finished runners-up to a Holland side who are looking good to go all the way in Qatar.
Senegal went down 2-0 to the Dutch but secured wins over the hosts and Ecuador as they prove they can life without star man Sadio Mane who was injured before the tournament kicked off in Qatar.
As usual, excitement is building among our friends across Hadrian's Wall with England fifth favourites to go all the way and repeat their 1966 success. There certainly seems to be a confidence in the camp that they can lift the trophy on December 18 with France next up for the winners here.
But they can't look beyond Senegal just now and you can follow all the action from Al Khor right here in our LIVE blog.

Senegal support
They're making plenty of noise, but the tournament organisers are drowning it out in their wisdom with generic tunes over the PA system.
Roy Keane is getting into the spirit of things by branding them "annoying."

Rashford dropped?
Despite bagging a brace against Wales, it's being reported that Marcush Rahsford will return to the bench for tonight's game.
We'll have confirmed team neews for you shortly, but it's understood the manchester United star will return to the bench with Arsenal's Bukayo Saka taking his place in the front three alongside Harry kane and Phil Foden.

Mbappe awaits
The winners of tonight's clash will face France in the quarter-finals, although as usual the assumption down south already is that it will be England and they should be planning for how to handle the red hot hitman.
Mbappe struck a stunning double as Didier Deschamps' men eased past Poland, with the Paris-SG star overshadowing strike partner Olivier Giroud's record-breaking 52nd goal for his country, overtaking Thierry Henry as Les Bleus all-time top scorer.
Whoever is tasked with stopping him in the next round, it's going to be easier said than done.
Good evening
Hello and welcome to another huge World Cup night with the Auld Enemy in last 16 action.
