FBI agents reportedly searched the home of former President Donald Trump in Florida this week for documents related to nuclear weapons.
It is unknown if such documents were recovered.
This is the first time law enforcement has raided the home of a former US president.
FBI activity is reportedly linked to an investigation into whether Mr. Trump removed classified records about him from the White House and brought them to his Lago.
The search was approved at the highest level of the Department of Justice (DoJ), a US official who spoke on condition of anonymity told CBS News.
Republicans have since branded the search as politically motivated.
