Firefighter was attacked by a missile-throwing thug as he witnessed the incident.

South Wales The Fire and Rescue Service tweeted about the horrific incident in Newport.

They wrote: “After witnessing the recent incident in Newport, firefighters at Dufflin Station came under attack by a group of missile-throwing tiles on stone.

South Wales Fire Brigade is part of the With Us Not Against Us campaign aimed at raising awareness of violence.
