George Shapiro has died of natural causes at the age of 91.
The Seinfeld producer and manager to a host of stars including Andy Kaufman, Jerry Seinfeld and Carl Reiner died at home in Beverly Hills on Thursday, according to Deadline.
No further details have yet been released.
As well as running his own talent company and managing a number of big names, Shapiro was well known for being producer on hit TV shows.
Among those he was involved with - as well as Seinfeld - included The Steve Allen Show, That Girl and Gomer Pyle.
As well as being producer on comedy series Seinfeld, Shapiro managed the star comic and produced a number of his standup specials.
