GOGGLEBOX fans were left devastated tonight after the show's stars revealed the series is coming to an end.
Sophie and Pete Sandiford delivered the sad news that the popular show is wrapping up for the year.
They posed on their side-by-side sofas at home in Blackpool, writing: "Last one of the series…. Who’s joining us? 📺❤️."
Many were displeased by the news the show is ending with a "festive finale", with one writing: "FINALE!!!!! What are we going to do?!?!?😭😭😭😭😭."
Next week, instead of our favourites delivering their verdicts on the week's TV, Channel 4 are showing a best-of compilation from the celebrity edition.
Christmas schedules will be in force after that with stars given time off before the show returns.
It has been a long series for the Gogglebox couples and families, who film throughout the week, with 14 episodes crammed into the current run.
The programme has been a fixture for Channel 4 since it was first aired back in 2013, with Stephen Webb and the Siddiquis the only people still on screen today.
