Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford marries fiancée in stunning clifftop ceremony

'I WAS BLOWN AWAY'

GOOD Morning Britain's Alex Beresford has married his fiancée Imogen McKay in a stunning ceremony in Majorca.

The ITV weatherman and presenter, 41, said his vows at sunset on the clifftop Son Marroig estate.

He told Hello!: "I was blown away by the beauty of it all. One of my cousins said it was like being in a movie and it really was. It was incredible from start to finish. But most importantly, it was where I was marrying the woman I love."

The location holds a special importance for the couple, who met in August 2020.

Alex proposed on a nearby beach on New Year's Day, and they returned to say their I dos along with 100 of their nearest and dearest.

Among them was Alex's son Cruz, 12, who was tasked with being ring bearer.

Australian Imogen, 29, who works in e-commerce, said: "I couldn’t wait to marry Alex. Seeing him and all our loved ones in that incredible setting made me feel so emotional."

The big day was booked shortly after Alex's romantic proposal.

In an unfortunate coincidence it fell on the same day as Queen Elizabeth's funeral.

Keen to pay his respects to the monarch, Alex started the day by watching the ceremony on TV before turning his attention to his wedding.
