Instead of sitting at home every weekend watching football Saturdays, John Rankin says he's happy Accesses defender Jamie Hamilton is back on the pitch.

"I think it's important that he's in a happy place and growing up. He's just sitting at home doing nothing.

With clubs down south turning around and even reports of Celtic showing interest, rumors circulated that he would be sent off.
That didn't happen and by the end of last season, an offer was presented by Accesses, but they were put on hold as Stuart Taylor's long-term departure from the club had only been approved in mid-June.
Rankin took charge, but it took a long time to reach an agreement, leaving the centre-back far behind his teammates.
"Jamies has a tough challenge when it comes to fitness," admitted Rankin.
"But he's working hard on it. He's not training with the boys, he's working on his fitness in our environment."

"Both need a mini pre-season. It's a little late, but we all know how important the pre-season is.
"If you miss seven or eight weeks of the preseason, you can catch up for the rest of the season, so getting up to speed will be very important.
