Health chief issues new heatwave warning starting tomorrow as weather office forecasts 35C

BRITS issued a heat health alert as temperatures set to rise nationwide this week.

The warning will last from noon tomorrow until 6 pm on 13 August, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) said.

Temperatures won't hit the record highs seen last month, but medical officials are still urging people to be cautious about the heat.

The Japan Meteorological Agencywarned of warm nights on the horizon.

According to official guidance, temperatures will be in the low 30s in some areas and in the low 20s in many places.

The Chiefs said the maximum temperature could reach 35 degrees for him and even 36 degrees for him on Saturday.

Dr Agostinho Sousa, UKHSA's head of extreme events and health protection, said temperatures would warm up again this week, especially in the southern and central parts of the country.
