WE may not yet be at Halloween, but some Home Bargain fans have already begun their Christmas preparations.
Home Bargain fan Lauren Saddington shares that she perhaps went a little Christmas-mad when she visited her local branch.
Posting to her TikTok account, Lauren films her Home Bargain trip, showing off all the Christmas items she adds to her trolley.
She begins her video saying: “I’m at Home Bargains, on a sunday and I’m ready to shop and I’ve just seen a giant blow up pumpkin in the window so it’s a good start.”
While Lauren may have spotted some Halloween decorations on her way in, it’s the Christmas aisles (yes, there’s more than one) that really catches her eye.
“I’m so excited,” she exclaims, entering the Christmas area. The first item Lauren picks up is wrapping paper, which, to be fair to her, is a Christmas essential. And at just 99p, it’s certainly a bargain.
Speaking to her camera, she adds: “Shopping for Christmas and Halloween at the same time is very stressful.”
Before heading to the Christmas aisles, Lauren shows off some of the items in the Hallowe section, including the inflatable pumpkin she saw in the window.
In stock there’s also some cute Halloween-themed Mickey and Minnie mouse plates, some pumpkin-themed mugs, and a whole host of other Halloween decorations, perfect for those with young kids, or who are a child at heart.
Heading to the Christmas aisles, Lauren picks up a Christmas postbox, in which children can post their letters to Santa Claus.
Next, she adds a decorative train set to her, already overflowing, trolley.
Her final items are a 1 metre tall singing nutcracker, and some giant candy canes.
“It’s just the gift that keeps on giving,” adds Lauren as she shows off the Christmas section.
Other TikTok users were obsessed with Lauren’s haul, with one writing: “An actual representation of me in home bargains also.”
“Dont have a tv up yet but at least you're stocked up for Christmas! I love your priorities”, joked another.
While others complained that the Home Bargain stores near them aren’t quite as well-stocked as Lauren’s local branch.
