When it comes to love, they say age is just a number.
But a woman 29 years younger than her boyfriend is the target of trolls on TikTok.
Natalie Noble, 21, and Bobby Lindsay, 50, live in Kentucky, USA and first met in 2015.
Bobby was Natalie's tennis coach and her father to one of the girls on her team. when they first met.
The two say their relationship was purely platonic at first, but they developed strong feelings for each other.
In one TikTok video, the couple revealed their age gap and many commented that they resembled father and daughter.
One wrote, "Thought this was a father and daughter," while another commented, "What a lovely father-daughter duo."
Third addition: "Oh, he might be your dad."
Natalie's mother tells Bobby that he has "robbed her of her youth." gave an ultimatum and said he had to tell Natalie's father about the relationship within a week.
Natalie's father was furious when she learned of this, and her parents told her to go to therapy to "solve her problem."
They have not yet accepted a relationship with Bobby, but are now "tolerating" because they know Natalie will be happy.
Natalie revealed that people's denial of their relationship only brought them closer together.
In another video, Natalie responded to the trolls, writing:
Some trolls claimed the age difference was too great, while others were supportive as long as the couple was happy.
One wrote:
Another person added: "Girls, I love this... my husband and I have a 25 year age gap. But I couldn't be happier."
But the third said, "I have to say, if he can't date a woman his own age, it's a red flag. , people don't want to hear the truth."
Another declaration: "I don't normally care about age differences. Shouldn't that be a red flag? Why target young adults?"
