I was on I’m A Celeb and hated how intrusive it was – it left me traumatised, says Catalina Guirado

CAMP HELL

I'M A Celebrity bombshell Catalina Guirado has slammed the ITV reality show for being too intrusive and leaving her traumatised.

The model, 48, starred in the second series back in 2003, which was won by former cricketer Phil Tufnell.

Reflecting on her time in the jungle, in which she finished seventh, Catalina was scathing about the show camera operators.

She told the Star: "They were so mean. They’d made a little hole and there was a camera sticking down it. They unzipped the bag slightly and I woke up to a camera in my face.

"I woke up at night and they were filming us sleeping. It was very intrusive, it was horrible. I think I might have F-bombed them and they left me alone. Then it was like, did that happen? Was that a nightmare?"

The beauty also accused producers of editing footage of her a certain way to fit their own narrative.

Catalina insists she was a willing team player but was continuously made to look like a prima donna.

She continued: "I think it was very unfair to do that and I did feel really quite traumatised mentally by it. It wasn’t good for my mental health."

During her stint on the programme she took part in one challenge, Croc Pit, and managed to get all 10 stars for camp.

She was the third famous face to leave, shortly after EastEnders legend Danniella Westbrook and ITV weather presenter Siân Lloyd.

Catalina was Chris Evans' sidekick Gorgeous Girl on the Channel 4 show between 1996 and 1997.

She appeared in the Ugly Blokes segment.

Before her TV career, the star was scouted for Vogue as a teen and has gone on to appear in various magazines including Elle, Cosmopolitan and FHM.
