I was working on top gear and there is a trick to tell which bits are scripted and which are real

TOP GEAR is one of the most popular car shows on TV.

Fans of the show will no doubt know that some scenes and segments have been staged, but they may be surprised at how much of the show is actually scripted.

The television program, which focuses primarily on automotive research and reviews, has been entertaining audiences since 2002 and has been one of the BBC's most commercially successful programs since its relaunch . became one.

Episodes have been broadcast internationally around the world, including Europe, North America and Southeast Asia, making it the most widely broadcast fact-based TV show in the world.

With the show's success in mind, superfans and people who were involved with the show shared their thoughts on his Reddit.

After binge-watching Top Gear on Netflix, one of his fans of the show took to his Reddit to share his thoughts and ask questions like: did.

It was revealed that some of the stunts in the show were carefully choreographed and some of the show was scripted.

One of his users on Reddit claimed to have worked on the show several years ago and returned the inside knowledge.

"It's almost completely scripted. The three of them get along very well off-camera and play their roles when on-camera," he claimed jayman419.

"However, this is an entertainment programme, not an information programme. The BBC has clarified this several times due to different standards (such as how complaints are handled)."

The user said he had inside information about how the show was produced, and continued: I would “review” the cast, drive around for a while, then head to the office and script the scene. While they are inside the trailer, the crew films someone else driving the car to edit into the scene.

"The reviewers come back from the trailer, go over everything with the director, and shoot the review itself."

Users claimed that filming the crew on location and creating a full recording of each scene gave the program a reality show feel.

} A user shared: “They do some quick reshoots. ) Then we move on to the next scene."

Meanwhile, another user, Daedelous2k, may have drama around them, but the show's hosts' racing and experimentation

They even claimed that there was a way to tell exactly which parts of the program were genuine.Rules and examples such as:

"1. The camera crew is visible and the presenter does not mention them (Jeremy hands May/Hammond to Verbier at the end of the race).

"2. Someone gets hurt (James falls backwards and hits his head)

"3. Without instructions from the host (gas station in Alabama), the camera moves too far and the footage is excessive.

"4. The referee behaves more like a normal human being for a while. (At a 24-hour endurance race, the teams don't want to disturb each other's usual brawls.)

"5. Somebody gets emotional (Hammond, disabled Dakar rally team)"

Another user agreed, adding: . For example, in the Indian special, Hammond's mini's grill was ripped off. Since leaving, Top Gear has taken a hit in viewership.

In 2016, the BBC faced backlash after die-hard fans of the show speculated that the producers had used a fake laughter soundtrack in the edit.

However, the station quickly stopped reporting on this.

The BBC has stated that all laughter was taken from the studio audience and no artificial laughter was used.

Top Gear 2022 continues to air every Sunday at 8:00 PM
