Inferno tears apart a Scottish hotel as flames burst from the roof and firefighters scramble to tackle the flames

A huge flame is now passing through a hotel in Scotland.

Firefighters rushed to the Poppinjay Hotel in Karrook,south Lanarkshireafter receiving an alarm at 7:18 am today.

Now a professional firefighter and his 10 fire trucks are on the scene to tackle this hell. It is unknown at this time if there are any injuries.

Shocking footage of the incident shows significant flames dominating the building.

Aggressive flames burst through the roof of his 34-bed hotel and spa, and thick pockets of smoke are shown spilling into the sky. The Fire Brigade remains present as they try to pacify Hell.

A Scottish Fire Service spokesperson said: “At 7:18 am today, we received a call that a fire had broken out on the grounds of our hotel on Lanark Road, Karluk. Operations Control has mobilized 10 appliances to the scene and has mobilized specialists.

"The fire brigade is still on the scene."
