An influencer faced backlash after asking a rescue center for free puppies in exchange for promotion on Instagram.
An unnamed social media star wrote to an animal charity asking to "sponsor a puppy of her choice" in exchange for online exposure, it said. Mirror reported.In a message later posted on Redditshe wrote: and she posted one of her Instagram stories (a repost of the first post).
“You guys have to sponsor the puppy of my choice. Usually companies sponsor the product and the reward. Because I'm looking for a buddy."
Most users thought it was okay that she wanted to work for a charity, but she was willing to pay for it for free. She raised the issue of expecting a puppy, claiming that "she seems to have more than just a rescue center." One user said:

"First, it's not asking, it's demanding. Second, she didn't say the golden word, so it is automatically denied. One rescue worker said: "As members of the rescue team, we do weird things like this all the time. People drive me crazy.
