Kanye West turns on Hailey and Justin Bieber amid 'White Lives Matter' backlash

Kanye West has turned on Hailey and Justin Bieber amid his ongoing controversy.

The fashion journalist had criticised Kanye's show before the 'Bound 2' musician made his feelings clear in a string of posts on social media, an ordeal Gabriella branded "serious volatility".

"Justin [Bieber] get your girl before I get mad," Ye said in a post that also trolled singer 'All of Me' singer John Legend and Vogue's Gabriella.

Hailey had previously joined a list of stars, including supermodel Gigi Hadid, who rushed to support Gabriella following Kanye's bizarre outburst.

"My respect for you runs deep my friend," Hailey wrote on Instagram. "to know you is to adore you and to work with you is an honor. the most kind. the most talented. the most fun. the most chic."

"Wait Am I cancelled again???," the 45-year-old penned alongside the screenshot, adding: "Justin [Bieber] please let me know."

But just a day later, Ye insisted the journalist was his "sister" and that the pair had a two-hour conversation about the entire ordeal.

Karefa-Johnson said: "One thing about me: I will always speak my mind, and always try to honor my truth. My thoughts are my own, and I stand by them. Thank you all for supporting me in that."

In another post on Instagram, she added: "I’ve fielded some serious volatility over the last couple days but nothing has been quite as bad as what people have said about my body and the way I look."

It reads: "Vogue stands with Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, our global fashion editor at large.

"She was personally targeted and bullied. It is unacceptable.

"Now more than ever, voices like hers are needed and in a private meeting with Ye today she once again spoke her truth in a way she felt best, on her terms."
