The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge set up Kensington Palace in central London with Prince George and Prince George. I use it as my main residence. Anmer Hall, her 18th-century red-brick home, was a wedding gift from the Queen to Mr. and Mrs. Cambridge.

The house was leased from 1972 to 1990. To the Duke and Duchess of Kent who used it as a country retreat.
For the next ten years the house was rented by Hugh Van Cutsem and his family.

The Van Katsem family has many strong ties to the royal family. and often attend functions together.
Hugh Van Cutsem was a close friend of Prince Charles while at Cambridge University.
Van Custem's four sons, Edward, Hugh, Nicholas and William, have acted as close friends to Prince William and Prince Harry over the years.
Edward Van Cutsem was a pageboy at the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana in 1981.

Nicholas Van Cutsem is also the godfather of Prince Louis and William is the godfather of Prince George.
