Katie Piper was rushed to the hospital for emergency eye surgery after her husband, Richard James Sutton, noticed dark spots.
The Loose Women star said her left eye had become "very painful" and she could not stand the light, she added. The mother of two had to be rushed to the hospital after deteriorating with nausea and extreme pain.
Katie, 38, sharing a photo of herself with her bandages on her Instagram wrote: I'm here. Being blind, I was excited to think I had another pupil, but by Sunday my left eye hurt so badly that I couldn't stand the light, so I patched it up and left the old one.
"I was used to some discomfort, so I went to work.
"By Sunday night I was feeling nauseous and in extreme pain. I reached out to sherazdaya @centreforsightuk and he confirmed that unfortunately the black circles have pierced my eyes and pierced my eyes, this is
