A man has died after being shot in the chest by an escaped killer on an e-bike.
The victim, in his 20s, was found with a gunshot wound just before midnight in Liverpool.
He received his CPR at the scene of Lovelock Bank in Toxteth, but he died shortly after reaching the hospital.
A search was launched to find two suspects of him riding an electric bicycle.
Police said they were both dressed in black.
Forensic experts are investigating the scene, and officers are going door-to-door today to gather more information.
An autopsy will be performed to formally establish the cause of death.
Chief Inspector Rooney said:
We would like to reassure you that you are a victim, and we have stepped up our patrols in the area and have made many inquiries.
If anyone saw or heard anything suspicious before or after the incident, please come forward and tell us what you know. I would also like to ask if anyone has footage of the to contact the news team.
