WEATHER presenter Laura Tobin was off work today - and replaced by a former Good Morning Britain regular.
Alex Beresford - known for his on-screen bust up with Piers Morgan - quit his role in February this year.
He was back today while Laura takes some well-deserved time off to do Christmas shopping.
Alex warned viewers the weather is "turning much colder" - as temperatures drop to -3C this week.
Laura told fans on Twitter: "Feeling festive after a family weekend at the Christmas markets In Birmingham where so many lovely people came to say hi.
"Drank mulled wine, had afternoon tea, did lots of walking & started my Christmas list.
"Back on Good Morning Britain on Thursday when I hope to have started my shopping!"
