Legendary Rockers GUN Hits Strathaven This Friday

Glasgow rockers GUN have a special show at Strathaven this weekend.

The band will perform a rare acoustic concert at the Strathaven Hotel as part of the FRETS concert.

GUN's Jools and Dante will perform acoustic versions of his most beloved GUN songs at an all-seated gig.

Frets is Douglas MacIntyre, a prominent Strathaven musician and owner of the Creeping Bent label.

This sees musicians across the UK playing intimate sets in town.

This Friday's concert takes place as the band prepares to release his new album, The Calton Songs, on October 14th. Other classics that shaped the band's career.

About the album, Jools Gizzi said:

These songs we know our fans love have been completely reworked and replaced with another stripped down version. It hopes to bring a psychedelic feel to it, made famous by The Grim Northern Social.
