Both sides of the highway were closed due to a seriouscrashinvolving a car crossing the M5 central reservation.
All traffic stopped on the highway while emergency services dealt with the collision,DevonLive reports .
The accident occurred early this evening near a junction in Calumpton, Devon.
Transportation data company Inrix said: } Carronpton / service area) to J29 A3015 Honiton Road (Exeter / Honiton).
